Shoppity-shop udpate!

I have lots of new patterns in the shop and more coming! These ones are from Australia though and particularly awesome!

I had so many requests for the Candy Girl Quilt pattern after my last giveaway that I now carry it! It really is so pretty.

I also got in Melly and Me's new book, Kaleidoscope! Twelve projects all in one book. The pictures are really pretty. Quilts, softies, and bags. Just what you would expect from Melly and Me.

Also, this little lady and her brood are joining the group. I love Clucky and her chicks! The little pocket for the chicks is so cute!

I also have Make It Perfect's Downtown Girl jacket pattern back in stock. Those went so fast last time!

I'm back!

After a whirl wind of activity over the past couple of weeks, things are settling down down a bit. A trip to California entailed lots of interviews for Kurt and ended in my lovely sister-in-law's wedding. I came home to some lovely mail. I fell in love with the new Amy Butler patterns! The mini dress is so cute, and I love the little pleats on the straps. The Turning Twenty pattern I bought because of this fabulous quilt. I just love it.

I did get a bit of sewing at some points though. I made a couple of bags including the new pattern by Artsy Crafty Babe. The pattern was relatively easy. The trickiest part was the yoke. I added some trim to the yoke and some buttons down the middle to jazz it up a bit. I made this one for the shop, and it should be up soon.

I also made some blocks for the Crazy Mom Quilt's quilt-a-long. I love all the soft pinks. Aren't they pretty? I need to do some catching up on these though.

Stitch

Erica's sent me a birthday coupon, so last weekend I went browsing. I have bought so much fabric lately that I couldn't justify getting more. Then I caught sight of the new issue of Stitch. I loved the last issue, and this one is just as much fun! Look what pattern made it to their Summer Picks- the Mail Sack! Check my shop if you are interested.

I love this zigzag apron! I love the a-line shape of the apron as well.

I have to admit- I think a serger is coming my way this Mother's Day. I am so excited. I can't wait for all the new possibilities this will open up in my sewing endeavors. I think this knit dress would be a great project to try out! I love the simplicity of it.

I have also stocked the shop with some new vintage linens. Lots of pretty prints!

Nothing Exciting...

I finished the girls' Easter dresses over the weekend. I will post pictures soon. I used the new Miss Lily pattern from The Handmade Dress, and they turned out cute!

I do have a couple new patterns in the shop- this cute wristlet pattern from Pink Sand Beach Designs shown above and her Sugarplum Stocking pattern (if you are like me, you better start preparing for Christmas now ;0p). I have only heard good things about The Little Glam Bag pattern, and if you have never made a wristlet this would be a good one to start with. I also restocked my Melly and Me patterns and got the Hooty and Tweet owl softie pattern. These guys are cute! If you like owls, this is a must.

Melly and Me patterns are in the shop!

I have been eying these patterns for quite awhile, and I am so excited to be carrying these now in the shop! These are the softie patterns. I love the koala bears and the bees! So cute!

These are the bag patterns. Drool. The Sherbert bag is the first Melly and Me pattern I ever saw. However, I can't seem to take my eyes off the Meadow pattern. I love that they take so little fabric. You could use several fat quarters for a lot of these bags.
